Even the bustling casinos in Singapore were affected, as excitement generated by the World Cup was just too overwhelming. However, after an initially sluggish market performance and the cool interest in casino gambling, much ordered has been restored as the World Cup progresses.

 

This month, with the Six White Star in charge, flanked by two Eight White Stars, the stock market may inch up slight under the radar of casual observers. However, this may be the last struggle before the ultimate demise. Stay tuned.

 

As the Six White Star is the Emperor star, you are advised not to challenge authority including that your bosses unless you are ready to face the music. Let nature take its course. Do not bear any grudges against or challenge anyone this month. Only that way can you keep the good luck rolling in.

 

 

China
China's relationship with Taiwan, Tibet and Xinjiang will encounter some turbulence in the later part of the month. Regions in the northeast of China, such as Hong Kong, Hainan and Guangdong, will encounter severe typhoons, thus the appropriate preventive measures must be taken.

 

 

United States
This month, Four Green visits and could cause instability to domestic affairs in the United States. As politicians and economist continues to disagree on the appropriate measures for their economic turmoil, coupled with the predicament from the Gulf of Mexico, troubles may become increasing apparent over time. This could in turn influence their foreign policy and cause strain to the already fragile Sino-Russia-America relationship.

 

 

Russia
Russia will be met with two fire stars - the Seven Scarlet and the Nine Purple. This could cause a dramatic weather change and be the source of several cases of fire related disasters. Conflict may arise from accession states due to the new economic policies guiding the European Union. All nations involved should proceed with caution.

 

 

Europe
The West, that is Europe, is experiencing a declining luck cycle after an outstanding twenty years (1984 - 2003) in the feng shui period 7. In period 8, Europe will find it hard to follow up on two outstanding decades that saw the establishment of the European Union, the birth of the Euro, and the unification of East and West Germany. 2011 and 2014 will be the two years that Europe as a continent will need to pay extra caution to. If they can somehow find a way to coordinate efforts to overcome these two years, then they could emerge with little damage endured. This month, watch for floods and typhoon.

 

 

Africa
This month sees the meeting between Three Jade and Five Yellow, which means that it could be a disastrous month for Africa. Lets hope that it will be have a direct impact on the World Cup or it could deepen the poor perception that many have of the African continent. Respective governments should take precautionary measures against natural disasters and at the same time, show more concern for its people.

 

 

Asia
This should be a serene and prosperous month for the Asia continent, although North and South Korea may have a slight bicker. As long as emotions are kept in check, this should not have any disruptive influence. Do watch for typhoons this month.

 

 

India
This could be a month when natural disasters could prove too much for India - especially if they are wind or water related. Also, due to some political reasons, there could be unrest from the population that could pose a challenge to the incumbent government.

 

 

Middle East
If Iran continues to ignore calls to stop their uranium enrichment program, they could soon be isolated. The U.S. could also call for military action towards Iran to show their prowess and also to establish influence in the Middle East.

 

 

Southeast Asia
Thailand Prime Minister Abhisit is experiencing a cycle of bad luck and this could have a huge say in the fate of the country. If the King of Thailand could step in decisively to bring a conclusion to their predicament, it could greatly benefit the nation. A close eye should be kept on the conflict between Thailand and Cambodia. Indonesia should also take precaution against natural disasters to limit its damage.

 

 

Australia
There will be incidents of disputes and natural disasters this month. The Australian dollar will experience volatility and show signs of weakening.

 

 

Stock and foreign exchange market
Against the odds, the market will perform favorably this month. However, this could be the last struggle before its demise. At an economic forum, I commented that the solar 7th month could be an extremely volatile month for the stock market, especially in the later half of it. I stand by that claim. Do your research well and make sure that you invest with sure handedness and use this turmoil to your advantage.
